Joanne Perdue, Architect AAA, LEED AP
Director of Sustainability, Office of Campus Sustainability, University of Calgary

As the Director of Sustainability for the University of Calgary Joanne Perdue is responsible for providing strategic management of the University of Calgary’s sustainability initiative encompassing 13 portfolios ranging from land planning and buildings to purchasing to engaging 30,000 people across campus to step up and take action towards sustainability. Joanne is also an architect and senior associate at Designworks Architecture working on both buildings and neighborhood developments pursuing LEED certification. Joanne co-chairs the Canada Green Building Council’s LEED Development Committee and will be providing an overview on LEED Canada and the Green Building Performance Initiative.
